East Bedlington Parish Council conducted comprehensive research with its residents from 2011 to 2013.  The Parish Plan 2013 -2018 is available in hard copy from the Parish Office or can be downlloaded from the documents section of this website.

We will begin the review of our Parish Plan week commencing 17 October with a series of meetings.

Why create a Parish Plan?

• It is Community Led
• Local people can get involved in developing and shaping ideas
• It costs significantly less to produce than a Neighbourhood Plan there is no need for a costly referendum to adopt the plan
• It is written in laymans terms so it is easy to read and understand.
• it can focus on all the key things that matter to a community
• An “Action Plan” is created to meet the needs and aspirations of the community.
